And we’re off, with the second day of strike action. Our comrades on the pickets have told us the mood is still energetic and workers and students are very angry. The success of the first day has spurred on the strikers. In Glasgow, our comrades were literally beating the drum of revolution (see below) whilst across the border in Goldsmiths (London), we marched to the Lewisham NatWest and Lloyds chanting ‘Lloyds and NatWest, get out. We know what you’re all about: cuts, job losses, money for the bosses.’

Our Sharifah did a Radio Interview last night for BBC Asian Network.
As the media continue to divide students and staff, we students are having none of it and encourage our classmates to join us in doing so!
