The Marxist Student Federation (MSF) now represents the strongest and most active student Marxists in Britain. This presents us with an important lesson, to produce and educate new Marxists up and down the country. Here is a report showing the strength of our first few weeks on campus this year!
We have now hit every freshers’ fair we could, spoken to thousands of people about the ideas of Marxism and shown them how to fight against capitalism. This has been a highly inspiring period for us. We have seen the thirst for communist ideas which exists amongst students.
The previous week of #CommunismOnCampus has been huge for us! We intervened in 20 freshers’ fairs. From Durham to Southampton and Loughborough to Manchester Metropolitan, we signed up hundreds of students to the Marxist Societies.
Last weekend, young comrades from across the Marxist Student Federation gathered for an inspiring summer school on the life and ideas of Lenin. Marxism is on the march. There has never been a better time to join the struggle for socialism.
Support staff at Leeds University, organised in Unison, are on strike this week, fighting for decent pay. The NUS (National Union of Students) called for a walkout on 2 March coinciding with the end of the latest round of UCU strikes. There were four demands for the walkout: full funding for education, accessible education, lifelong education, and democracy in the education system. We fully support these demands. Read more…

Considering this close relationship it’s no surprise that the British education system or at least the caricature of education that is the official curriculum also supports the concept of Zionism and defends the Israeli state from criticism wherever possible.
Comrades from the Leeds University Marxist Society attended last Saturday’s demo defending our NHS from the vicious attacks by the Tories.
