Zac Larkham, a student at Sheffield Hallam University (SHU) recently exposed his university management for tracing his physical and online activities with the student rent strike movement last academic year. The academic year 2020/21 was rough for students. University students were charged £9,000 plus rent for tiny accommodation, poor quality online lectures (not the fault of staff but of government and university management), and terrible mental health. In recent years violent attacks toward LGBT people in the UK have risen exponentially. The situation in Liverpool has been particularly dire with the number of these vicious attacks rising over 25 percent since last year, according to the Merseyside police.
