Sussex Marxist society had a stall at the university freshers fair and a meeting on the subject of ‘Defend Corbyn, Fight for Socialism’ on Wednesday 16 September. Dan from the Sussex Marxist society reports:
“We’ve had a really good day and signed up around 100 people to our mailing list. The mood was very good and people were obviously really excited by Corbyn’s victory and our meeting on the topic. We had around 25 people at the first meeting of the term and there are a few more from the freshers’ fair who couldn’t come today but will hopefully come to next week’s meeting. All in all we’re very confident that we’ll be able to build the Susssex Marxist society into a force to be reckoned with on campus!”
